This design is a pattern based on an example of the logo of the Save The Pickled Onion Club - a sentient onion in a pool of malt vinegar. Back when I was in school, many decades ago, I founded the Save The Pickled Onion Club. I had decided that, since onions have layers and vinegar is an electrolyte, pickled onions might be sitting there thinking deep philosophical thoughts in their jars; and that, consequently, such intelligent and sensitive little personages probably shouldn't be eaten. There were handmade club badges (each featuring a uniquely drawn pickled onion or two) and there was even a Pickled Onion National Anthem. I found out much later that badges weren't actually allowed in the school (there was a fairly strict school uniform). But, possibly because I was already considered to be a rather unique specimen myself or because several of the teaching staff were also badge-wearing members of the club, no-one ever bothered to object to our club badges. Currently displaying a version with a typically sad-faced onion in Spoonflower's dim sum palette. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request and you can even ask for a custom mixture of designs. RGB colour codes : FFFFFF : EC8F7A : F5EBBF : BDBB14 : 6E702E : 4C3D2A … See my profile index or tags for similar designs: • spoonflower0210 [by palette] (http://www.spoonflower.com/tags/spoonflower0210) • all contest palettes (http://www.spoonflower.com/designs/3306702)
