I am retired and my main passion is digital art followed by quilting . Once I discovered Spoonflower I could see this as the next step in joining these two interests together.

Bright stripes . Due to the nature of the process all drip dye simulations are softer in the stripe in some parts.

Does not detract from the ultimate design but best to swatch if concerned about this.

su_g says: A very impressive collection Shirley! I would think that there's something for everyone in there - once you click on the Collection title "Dying Simulations 2" and can see all the designs unfolding before you...

koalalady says: Ellen,I spent some time on this idea but no- I cannot do it as it seems I have lost that original so repeats are very time consuming and then you may not like it. So- I must say no. There are 3 collections of drip dyes)hope you have been there to see the variety . Maybe one of them could be brightened enough for you.Sorry.

koalalady says: Deborah, thanks , I had to look in Google Images too and this one did not appear but it seems fond of a red one right now. But in looking at the fabric and by the way I got it in a silky faille for brightness- oops too bright I think- I really like the cotton silk best so far . The one that adds zigzag is my favorite. I would order that if ever I had time to sew anything. And to see my fabrics mixed with Diane's finished designs is quite fun. Thanks for looking at these, liking and discovering them on Google.

anniedeb says: Shirley, I did a Google search "diane doran drip dye" to read more about what you are doing and this design came up in Google images -- #1 in fact! I really like this collection. Wonderful work.
