By Andrea Enthal

A Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. You will also find orphan cars, and adaptations of very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

A variation on the old red and white gingham picnic blanket, recast in chocolate brown, and textured with art nouveau tinged vines and curls, and teeny tiny leaves and textures. From a distance it looks like a brown version of the traditional table cloth. But up close it has micro detail.

Side note: This is a design that will work on some fabrics and get lost on others. My proof was on performance knit, where it works perfectly. Would probably work well on sateen and cotton silk. I have my doubts about it working on Modern Canvas or twill. But since, at the time I put this up for sale, Modern Canvas was not an option, you don't have to worry about that one. It might work on Kona, or it might not. I have not seen it on that fabric to know.
