mizfishnitski says: Love the fifties graphic nature fabric I bought 2 years ago. I wanted to send a photo of the bag I made but cannot for some reason. Many thanks.

bippidiiboppidii says: This is really fantastic. Very 50s, almost MIro, yet entirely original. It's a stunner! :-)

uzumakijo says: thanks so much for your comment kelly...i do have a fondness for this one, i'm not that keen on most of my earlier designs but this one managed to turn out how i envisioned it somehow!...i'm not that keen on red to be honest...i use it occasionally, but i'm not a massive fan...i tried a few combinations of this design with the red in it and hated them all. left it out and i suddenly really liked it! and i'm so pleased you think it's well balanced...i do seem to have trouble in that department..this is one of my more sucessful attempts at getting a good balance of elements!

weavingmajor says: this really is lovely, and very 50s. Fun to see it again after so many months since the contests - and without being overwhelmed by several dozen 50s designs. It's so much quieter than a lot of the designs, without the red in the mix - leaving it out was definitely the right choice for this fabric. It has a peacefulness to it that's really appealing - that and the vertical lines and curved-corner rectangles really balance out your energetic wiggly shapes nicely.

ceanirminger says: Beautiful pattern! You hit the nail directly on the had for a 50's vintage fabric. All you need are some pearls, a vacuum, a high ball and a turkey on a platter and bam! Instant June Cleaver!
