I live part time on the Atlantic Coast, and part of our landscape here on this island are beaches that are spiked with poles, around which a textile fence is tied. These odd structures mark the nests of the Sea Turtles, which have hauled themselves out of the ocean to come ashore and lay their eggs. I chose a khaki background, because normally the nests have sea oats and driftwood around them and those colors always look so great together.
