I found a little more time to work on this contest and decided to change my entry. This is a pen and ink I did while stuck in the hospital for two days with a bad reaction to a new medicine. whimzwhirled says: What a long strange trip it's been, Rhonda. lol I guess over half of my friends as a teen and young adult were deadheads. I loved the music but never followed them or knew every fact about every menber of the band from birth on. lol These guys did though. The first piece of art I ever sold was a black light painting of Janis Joplin. I was 12 and still remember the name of my first client. Barb Boyer. That was 41 years ago. Yikes!

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: Vibrant coloured hens parading over the rainbow bridge make a fun design! For folk of a "certain age", the various decorative motifs that you have used are reminiscent of mid-century poster art and give your illustrations a feeling of nostalgia for the days of youth and optimism!
