’Twilight on the byways by Su_G' (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1721231): A typical kind of twilight scene you get from the highways and byways (mainly byways) of the Australian outback (naive style, with eucalypt, wallabies and grass trees). Entry in Spoonflower's 'Highways and Byways' contest. © Su Schaefer 2013 I used photographs taken when traveling around Australia as inspiration for this scene. My aim was to explore the way key features of the landscape become silhouettes and the colors, especially those of distant hills, change in the early evening (when the heat dies and you can appreciate the scenery again).
