I drew this while sitting in the waiting room of a hospital on December 31, 2012, while my best friend was having a colonoscopy. They required him to have a driver after it was done, rather than release him to drive home under the potentially not quite worn off influence of anesthetic. I knew it would be a very boring wait, so I brought my paper and a dozen markers and drew to pass the time. Only the darkest shade of brown (which I did not bring with me) was added later in the day. It was all drawn in one 90 minute session that morning. (file j90, #1684107)
