This design is a tessellation of very stylised birds, based on the regular triangle/hexagon grid and using a three-fold pattern of alternating circle arc spirals (2 in one direction and 1 in the other along each lattice axis). The design is rendered in 3 motif colours (preserving some triad symmetry) and an outline colour. Currently displaying a version in Spoonflower's flights of fancy contest palette.
