In this collection, haute couture meets Oriental classicism. An enchanted cherry blossom garden grows delicately, dusted in a lavish golden shimmer. Fantastical peacocks perch on branches sprinkled with luminous petals while others spread their plumage into gilded fans. Bejewelled with peacock feather eyes, these designs are at once both theatrical and serene. In the more delicate designs of the collection, the peacocks have already taken flight, leaving the trees behind to sparkle and shine in a dreamy escape. Inspired by Oriental pottery, the illustrations are delicate and ornamental with a slight antique feel. Colour ways are bold and pure, like exotic commodities of coffee, gold and spices.
