Like the glossy relics of an ancient Greek vase, this design is draped in a rich chestnut brown. The lean figures of Greek Olympians stand out in detail against the surface, their tawny peach colouring like dried orange clay. They race towards invisible finish lines, repeated along each row in an endless race. Their movements are theatrical and sprightly, their limbs stretched elegantly as though in dance. Golden wreathes of leaves and branches adorn the design, delicate monuments to this ancient era.
