The same colors and elements in "The Road to Citrus Sunshine" are divided up slightly differently here. You still get crisp clear colors and fine scale clean lines. You still get slightly zig zagging internal daisy vertical stripes. You still get fresh picked oranges and hexagons filled with grapefruit. And you still have a quadrilateral patchwork structure where diamonds meet up with kite shapes and squares. I see echoes of the 1930's in this design, not just because of art deco, but the overall sunshine and small crisp graphic look. But I can also see eighties and nineties here. And of course I see these already cut up patterns even more cut up for quilt or applique. (file L52 #)
