whisper_color says: I was looking on Spoonflower for fabric to make into a coloring book and pencil case. This is a genius find. It will be added to the black and white zentangle prints. I will post a photo when it is done.

weavingmajor says: thanks Fireflower! Ah, your colored pencil set sounds delightful! Mine are now all in a jumbled mess in a plastic bucket, since I have pencils from about six different manufacturers, too many to fit in a regular tin... but now I'm thinking it would be fun to make one of those fabric pencil rolls with the individual pockets... can't decide whether it would be fun to do it with the pencil fabric, or just distracting! ;o) But it was fun to organize them virtually anyways...

fireflower says: Again with the color-sorting! I love it! This is my kind of pattern. I heard from someone I'd known back in 1957 that what she remembered about me was the wonderful set of colored pencils in little drawers that I had, and she coveted. I still have that little box with the drawers, and I still replace the pencils as I use them up. The box and the first pencils were my father's, who had it in college, in the late 1930's, so I guess I got the love of such things from both sides of my family. Your design warms my heart with good memories.
