whimzwhirled says: Thanks Wednesdaysgirl. I like to splash water on top of water color paintings and quickly blot them to add more interesting textures. Then when to paper is nice and wet stipple watery colors that just melt into the picture. In this case I used a magenta to stipple and it fades in to just add a little something. When I've mucked it up properly I remove the frisket to reveal the white. Then I paint what is needed on the white to blend it.

rhondadesigns says: This shadowed ring of daisies seems to be catching the last warm rays of sunlight that add a golden glow to this design! The more I look at this pattern the more the magical quality of it shines forth. An active imagination could easily recognise the enchanted keyhole in the centre of the floral wreath!
