Has opening on sides for extra filter if needed.
1. Sew fronts together Face to Face. Then on on right side top stitch down the center. Do both pieces.
2. Sew 1/4” seam on sides. Do NOT sew together. Both pieces.
3. Sew neck right sides together. 1/4”
4. To put the elastic on bottom and use for loop to ears:
It is important to measure the bottom. Then add sufficiently the amt needed(elastic) to go from bottom to top. This is loose on both ends. This makes a ear loop. It will also secure your elastic to bottom, Make sure the extra for ears hangs out before you start sewing elastic to bottom.
*To start: Make a few stitches of the elastic,+ two bottom hems together. Then pull it somewhat tight to other end before you start sewing. With left hand guiding the elastic, and right hand holding the elastic you sew it to the end. This will gather that bottom. Then you have two loose ends where you added the extra apx 6inches. One on each end . These tuck into the ends at top near neck. Tack down securely but leave the sides open to be able to insert extra fabric for resisting viruses and colds. (I will attach a video link to show you how Soon) see above
Now you have a reversible face mask with elastic bottom and elastic ear loops.
