I was first going to call this a Rube Goldberg garden but decided not to because I don't think there are enough people on line who know who/what Rube Goldberg is. So I named it Steampunk Gardens for all the hooks grabbing strings, and twisting threads, linking the richly colored abstract flower like forms in it. The colors on your screen only partially display what the printed colors look like. The big off center fuchsia "daisy," for instance is not fuchsia at all, in print, but a deep raspberry. But the cog-like nature of the flower petals, and the belt-like connection of all those fine white strings, gives this an old maze or clockwork mood.
