created a simulated French papercut doily design. ©
In this large scale, all over, tossed French vintage paper doily pattern, I first created a repeating aqua blue green linen design by scanning in one of my mother's dresses she had made for a 4-H competition, dating from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. Then I simulated a vintage paper doily design in pink and white and many varying doilies in several sizes and turned them into a scattered overlapping repeating design on my linen textured background. This is my entry for the April 2020 Pastel Cafe Design Challenge. © creative8888 Note: The repeat is 48" x 48". This bold, yet elegant, design would be especially suited for tablecloths, tea towels, placemats, and curtains. Use it in home decor projects or as wallpaper for a French shabby chic look. This design can easily be resized/recoloured/reworked for your needs.
