hewn & stacked to create housing for the village.
This stone mosaic wall belongs to a hundreds of years old seacoast village on the West Coast of Ireland, gathered, hewn & stacked to create housing for the village. The stones came from the sea, washed up upon the beach, claimed from the ancient mountain and hillsides of this small, Irish town. The hand hewn marks are on many of the rocks, which are plainly seen on the wall of this house. Many colors, sedimentary lines and markings make up a geological map, which reflect the history and faces of these stones.
