It is believed that if one folds 1000 origami cranes, one's wishes will come true. As a result, it has become popular to fold 1000 cranes (in Japanese, called “senbazuru”). The origami crane is also a symbol of hope and healing during challenging times. This is why I chose the origami crane as the inspiration for this pattern.
