The main graphic influence was taken from a flyer for a 1950 double feature at Michigan Theatre in Traverse City, MI. The theatre opened in 1948 after the Lyric theatre in town burned down for the second time. Here I've developed a half-brick repeating scene of Halloween night; the dead walk the Earth, and the neighborhood cats aren't very happy about it.
