weaving and tattoos.
A meaningful design for graduation gifts. "Pagtatapos" means graduation in Tagalog, one of the languages of the Philippines. Here it is written to resemble the chevron design that represents mountains in Ilokano/Itneg weaving, as well as birds in tattoos. The design is read from the bottom left (pa), top left (ta), top right (ta), bottom right (po). This is how "pagtatapos" would be spelled in traditional Baybayin, a pre-colonial Philippine script related to the Sanskrit, Balinese, and Thai scripts.
