vo_aka_virginiao says: :-) Thanks Mimi and me! (hahaha, I love your username but it does make me sound of odd thanking me when it's really you or maybe not you but someone close to you. ;-) )

victorialasher says: #13! Congratulations, pretty good finish. I liked this better than a lot of the top ten.

vo_aka_...

vo_aka_virginiao says: Paragon, that would be wonderful! I love the rain when we get it, so any way I can help would be fab. Thanks for the luck, I will certainly need it, there were so many unbelievably good designs.

paragon...

paragonstudios says: I think a sun hat would be a wonderful idea and maybe when you wear it you'll confuse the rain gods and get some of that much needed rain. Wouldn't that be wonderful Good luck tomorrow

vo_aka_...

vo_aka_virginiao says: I might have to make a hat since I'm absolutely bad at constructing things on a frame. LOL.

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: Maybe an old-fashioned parasol to twirl and keep the sun away? Or perhaps a big, shady beach umbrella would be more useful?

Posted over 6 years ago.

vo_aka_...

vo_aka_virginiao says: As cute as an umbrella would be, I won't be making one. It rarely rains in southern Calif. and I am terrible about constructing things like that. Sammyk, I don't think fusing will work as you'd have to use a hot iron...clear plastic would probably melt. It might look very surreal tho!

Posted over 6 years ago.

sammyk

sammyk says: Maybe fusing the fabric to the underside of a clear umbrella might work.

Posted over 6 years ago.

victori...

victorialasher says: You could work out the shape for the umbrella panels and adapt the design to fit. Do they sell umbrellas without the fabric so you can make your own? This is the perfect fabric for it.

Posted over 6 years ago.

vo_aka_...

vo_aka_virginiao says: Thanks Rhonda! I think an umbrella is a fab idea!

Posted over 6 years ago.

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: I love how your bright and cheerful flowers are holding their faces up for a drink of fresh rainwater. Interesting idea about making a raincoat out of this fabric - it would always have raindrops on it, even during a drought. Maybe you could do an umbrella to match?

vo_aka_...

vo_aka_virginiao says: Thanks Paragon and Madam0wl! I'm wanting to make a raincoat using the design. ;-)

vo_aka_virginiao says: :-) Thanks Victoria! (gee, I wish my design showed up better. Just the little raindrops make it appear that it's a blank design.)
