Picture yourself back in ornate and gingerbread filled Victorian times, when houses were built with large verandas and magazines were filled with etchings because photography had not yet been incorporated into books and magazines, except when copied by human hands. So there you are, sitting in your hoop skirts, or starched shirt and suit, and the colors of fall are just starting to take over the yard. There are still greens out there but they have been joined by oranges and yellow and shades of brown. You look down at your book and see its delicate lines, then out at the colors of your world, and somehow combine them to get this scallop edged horizontal stripe design. (file E004a2, #3270767)
