I usually go for whimsy, but being an architectural drafter, I leaned a little more toward a realistic view this time... SO welcome to mi casa and feel free to taste the pie, smell the flowers, walk the dog, clean the windows, use the herbs from my garden (could you water my chia pet while you're at it--he's finally starting to sprout!), and if you get sea sick, please open the window before you hurl!

ttoz says: Thank you so much cean and uzumakijo! ...though I do think you both have holloween on the mind reet-reet-reet (okay, that 'knife outside the shower curtain music' isn't as scary written out...). Maybe I should have used a washcloth instead of a squeegee...

uzumakijo

uzumakijo says: this is fantastic, love all the details, it's so well done and fits together beautifully! i love the little handprint on the small window, i always end up with those on my windows!!! i must admit (although i may not have done if cean hadn't already) that i too thought the window cleaner was a man with a massive knife hahaha - i watched silent hill last night i'm gonna blame it on that! anyway a brilliant design and i hope it does amazingly well- good luck!

ceanirminger says: Okay, that dog is perfect! This whole fabric is just awesome and so chock full of detail I can look at it for one minute and be full for half the day! Here's my sad confession. When I first saw the window washer I thought it was a person with a really big knife attacking someone, A la "Rear Window". A second look showed it for what it obviously is, but what does that say about my twisted brain? Back on track, this is amazing! Good luck!

ttoz says: Too funny, Anja--I ironically was just introduced to 'Norwax' so I'm going to do a little window cleaning this weekend (ahem, first time since we moved here almost two years ago...[blush]). I typically do a rough sketch, scan it into photoshop and then tweak from there...usually redrawing it all, so I think I too need a workshop to show me a more efficiant way to do it! Anywho, thank you so much Mona and Sharon! and Rachel...I completely didn't see that until you pointed it out...huh, I'm more of an artist than I thought...or a follower of an artist at least...:)

annosch says: Please, send the window cleaner to me when he finished with your windows! Thanks a lot. Great design! Do you have the pics drawn by hand or on your PC? I am always impressed about what you can do on the PC. I urgently need a photoshop workshop!

ttoz says: Aw, you step away from your computer for a day, and you come back to a big smile! Thank you all--it means a lot! And Victoria, I believe the word is draftspersonship, but I'll take the compliment anyway;):):)

victorialasher says: Being something of an architecture fan myself, i'm really enjoying all the details in this; as well as the beautiful draftsmanship. Is it still PC to use that term?
