1815.
A reproduction of a micro-checkered fabric block-printed fabric from the Regency period, c. 1811 - 1815, as seen on a gown in the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands (https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/collection/BK-1983-44/fashion).. The repeat of this design is set to 1.67in x 1.88in on fabric, wallpaper and wall decals and 1.71in x 1.93in on wallpaper. At that scale, it prints at 1600 pixels per inch; so in case you need the repeat to be larger, I can set that up for you without problems. Note that due to the nature of the really small stripes, the design may look weird if you look at it in any other view than the swatch size (respectively the smallest possible decal size) in the Spoonflower preview; however it will still print correctly. In case you would like to order this fabric at a different scale or in different colors, please don't hesitate to send me a message! If you were always wondering how different colors print on the various fabrics that Spoonflower offers, please do have a look at my website where I have quite a few comprehensive photos of color swatches printed on various fabrics!
