The design is black on white, though on some fabrics this colour may not be as dark or bold and can on some natural fabrics can appear a little bit like inky purple black - It is best to order a swatch first - and I recommend ordering Kona Cotton Ultra rather than the Basic Cotton as I have tested most of my designs on the Kona Cotton to match colours as I want them to appear :)
