wrapping.
That's the way to wow at your Thanksgiving dinner! You can wrap the utensils (like in the prototype example), a mint, a favour, use to hold the name of the person that will sit there. (tie it around the neck) Your guest simply untie the ribbon and use the napkin to wipe themselves during the meal. Once wash, reuse whenever you like afterwards. It's cute, practical, unique and versatile. I also made a Swan and a Peacock version for wedding, while I was at it. Even better, you do not need to own fancy tools, acquire expert skills. Currently, the final unfolded napkin is 38cm (15") on both sides. If you buy a yard, it makes 4 napkins. Do the math for your number of invitee Most origami napkin folding for turkey uses 2 napkins. After playing around for about a week, I came up with this idea using only one napkin. Napkin fabrics are, as oppose to paper, flexible enough to fold against the fan fold yet sturdy enough to keep the fan. It is fun to conceive something that you can use and use and use again. With the hours I put on this project, I would be to the moon if one wanted to license it! My husband say it is "genius" that I came up with this. That makes me blush. I just want it to be useful. What do you think? By the way, since I cannot print on fabric, I made it in white with black sharpies marking and skinned the desing on it for reference. The plate is real (one of my ceramic handmade piece) and everything else. The colour might be a bit off. Note: I bought it in petal cotton, sewn it with polyester thread and I can both certify it works fantastic, now. I will update when i receive the linen cotton version. Poplin cotton did not hold.
