These are two of my mom's favorite mandelbrot cookie recipes. Mandelbrot means 'almond bread' in German. My mom usually adds lots of chocolate chips for us four kids, and almonds of course, but you can add raisins, other types of nuts, whatever you prefer. My mom will put jelly in them sometimes too. These are well-used, well-loved recipes so I did not clean the scan of the recipe up at all, stains and all, I like it that way. It even has my mom's writing on it which makes me very happy! As far as I'm concerned, my mom's mandelbrot is the best I have ever tasted (not that I'm biased or anything, LOL)! Enjoy and thanks for taking a look.
One fat quarter of linen-cotton canvas will make one tea towel. A yard of linen-cotton canvas would yield four tea towels.
