The story behind the design of this foliage and an imagined warrior carving: I was lucky to be able to be one of the last visitors that was allowed to climb Kukulkan’s El Castillo (Kukulkan-Quetzalcoatl) Pyramid at Chichen Itza in Mexico. We climbed El Castillo in the quiet of the morning, in the beauty, imagining what this huge city once was. the view from the top of these castillos is amazing. Go visit Tulum & Chichen Itza, if you can, & walk through the ruins, climb the tall Nohoch Mul pyramid at Coba. Be sure to arrive early before the many buses arrive and it gets hot!. Breath it in.
