Older toddlers may also enjoy matching the animal pairs. A quarter yard of quilting weight or cotton silk will include pieces for the book and three pairs of animals. A quarter yard of sateen or other wide fabric will also give you Noah and a rainbow. To complete the project you will need needle and thread, batting or fusible fleece, a little stuffing, a piece of scrap fabric, and a 1" square of velcro.
