All Products forswedish folk art goose fable

Created for the Swedish inspired design contest. Not really connecting with the more modern Swedish designs which seem to take design cues from mid-century modern styles (1950's), I drew inspiration from earlier days of Swedish design with florals, woodcrafting and motifs from storytelling...in particular fables. This design is inspired by the goose that laid golden eggs. Fables all had lessons and this story warned against greed. I had fully intended to create eggs of gold, but I have this weakness for color...lots of colors. I love busy designs with color on every inch. I'm using some in this collection for my own decor...and hope you enjoy these too. Thank you for viewing!
