About the Design

Alexander Hamilton's essay in favor of the Electoral College, 42" inches wide, with a 36" repeat.

This is what happens when you brainstorm cosplay ideas with a Hamilfan. Yes, really. This would be great for quilting/crafting or lightweight garments. The text is from Federalist Paper No. 68., written by Alexander Hamilton in 1788. The lettering is a little more than a half an inch high and was created with a freeware font that mimics the penmanship of the period. This option is 42" wide. I strongly prefer the Kona cotton for this pattern, but the width would also work on the basic cotton, the cotton poplin ultra and the silk crépe de chine (although I wouldn't recommend the latter, unless you want something VERY sheer). It's also available in polyester satin, but under a different listing in my shop, because the fabrics are different widths and I didn't want to "tile" the text.
