I was about to recycle this design when I looked at the sea weed and paisley teardrops, ship bells, and wave patterns, and decided to make it for sale instead. This is one of the earliest designs I entered on Spoonflower. (I am guessing the frame number 521271 dates from mid 2010). It was drawn before there even was a Spoonflower and left in a book of similar abstract drawings I had made when I was bored at work. The job I had, had hours of stand by which gave you nothing to do but wait for something to do. So I drew pictures to keep me sane. This vaguely sea-like crop from that drawing was entered experimentally, proofed, but never set for sale. Its precision and the interplay of color shades appeals to me. So I am sharing it with you almost 4 years later. (file zccBlue, #521271) The boring fine print (that is actually the same size as all the other print): The size (scale) you see displayed in all Spoonflower offerings is actually only a suggestion. In my case it is the size I personally wanted for my eight inch proof of the design. Because this is custom printing designs can be made in any (technically possible and reasonable looking) size. You can even order the same design in two sizes, such as a yard of big and a yard of small, to use together. This does take communication and co-ordination with the artist. But do not think that the scale you see on the screen is the only way the design comes. If you need tiny and the design is big, or the reverse, you can buy a design you like that way. The keyword 2084 has been entered on most of this artist's abstract and geometric designs for use in the search block.
