This pattern can be downloaded as an 8" x 8" swatch. I would suggest using Kona cotton as the fabric choice. In addition to the pattern itself and the instructions, you will need some polyester fiber fill, a few inches of pearl embroidery thread to attach the moon to the earth, matching thread, and fabric glue to attach Antarctica. The moon may be stuffed either with emery or with polyester fill. The pattern is also available as "Earth and Moon Pincushion Project" from Amazon.com. That project kit includes this swatch, instructions, and a short length of pearl cotton embroidery thread. You will still need your own fiber fill, fabric glue, and thread.
