This fabric design is dedicated to my mother, Jeannette, who made me a dress to wear on my first day of junior high school. Everyone in school commented on how pretty I looked that day. What could have otherwise been a traumatic adolescent experience became a wonderful childhood memory. Fashion is so much more than just items of clothing!
