Older cut out designs with even older slips of Japanese bookkeeping, photographed in the bright
sunlight adds a beautiful depth of shadows
These are older cutouts but the tissue paper bodies did not work and needed to be removed which weakened the cut out. Add to this the discovery of old pieces of what look to be Japanese bookkeeping on filmy paper found padding a beautiful old screen. Placing it all unglued on a turquoise background in bright sunlight, created a beautiful deep and mysterious Koi Pond. This must truely be what we call beginners luck!
