The flowers featured in this design are classically associated with love and romance. Bleeding hearts, Jasmine and Pansies (Violas) made famous by Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The scrolls surrounding Cupid proclaim, "I love you," "love conquers all," "love is blind" and "faithfulness and love."

Cupid takes aim, bearing messages of love. The motif is entirely my own pen and ink illustration.
