About the Design

Simple, hand drawn, animal shapes combine to create a puzzle. It features a limited palette and is

an example of a bold, minimalist style

I see this design being used as you would checks, as a reworked version of that simple, traditional design. I guess the design combines the influence of several recent Spoonflower challenges! There are elements of bold minimalism, petal solids coordinates for optimism as well as the concept of reworking a classic! LOL What would we do without our pets, who restore our spirits when we are down, who love us unconditionally?! Pets seemed the perfect theme for me in this challenge. Personally, we have a 3 year old beagle named Snickers because he is a tri-color. Over the years we have had tadpoles and frogs, hermit crabs, turtles, cats, dogs, a Tokay gecko and fish. One of my favorites was a young cockatiel and we have had various parakeets. The current image I have in my mind for this design is a loose fitting shirt. What would you do with it?!
