realistic & lovely stitchery, patches & 3d details.
I looked for hours to find these sweet swatches of actual nostalgic, vintage Aloha Shirts fabric. I have lived my entire life in Hawaii, have seen styles come and go since the 1950's, and know what is fun, funky and authentic. I have added virtual stitchery and embroidery to the finished product which look absolutely realistic and three dimensional. This design has really gotten me excited ! I like the idea that all the patches are already assembled and all that needs to be done is for you to sandwich it together with a contrasting fabric on the back and bating in the middle and then it can be sewn along the printed virtual stitches, which I added as a finishing touch to each of the 20 patches!!! I am, sadly, too lazy for all the work that goes into creating a quilt, but I think I could do this one!!! LOL! Let me know what you think!
