Additional colors are ok to use, but we recommend keeping it simple with no more than 4 colors total (not including black and white) to ensure your design coordinates well with the colors Mushroom, Sky Blue and Pine. For my challenge entry, I selected pine from the petal solids calm color palette for my background; I used a gradation of pine for the background textures and the lighter greens in the ornaments, in addition to dusty pink, warm gray, black, and white, to coordinate with the sky blue, mushroom, and pine from the calm palette.
