This entire original piece of art was sized to be an 18” x 21” fat quarter (42” width fabric). When a wider width of material is ordered, the design is mirrored and rotated which creates a kaleidoscope pattern. When one yard is seen at the full 42” wide, there is a large diamond and bar pattern. If a fabric wider than 42” is chosen, the pattern will continue to repeat – possibly to have another half stripe on the right depending on size. This means that the pattern is not centered on the fabric. Please contact me to have the pattern sized for widths other than 42” and you want the pattern centered. Also, the pattern could go much smaller, which would make rows of diamonds and bars.
