I wanted to capture the fringed paper texture of a pinata. The starburst shapes are vector drawings, the background is strips of painted papers that I scanned and the subtle scribble texture is from a photograph of a fiber optic light fixture. (You might need to zoom in to see that detail.) It's an active and playful print but in a subdued color palette.
