When preparing for the winter toile contest, everytime I attempted to draw the design that I had envisioned this little cardinal kept sitting on my shoulder vying for my attention. Cardinals have a special place in my heart. Since my grandmother's passing, she often visits me through cardinals. I didn't even know if I could draw it, but the pull to try was too strong. I don't know what this design will mean to anyone else. For me, it brings loving memories of Grandma. Red pencil on paper, approx. 5-3/4"x4-3/4"
