The Taino coqui symbol is derived from Native American stone carvings or petroglyphs found in the Caribbean. Here it creates a pattern of black and brown suitable for different uses in crafts, decorating or even apparel. I have used a larger repeat to make pajama pants for my sons, a medium repeat to make napkins and a very small repeat to make both napkins and coasters.
