Desperately needing to create something after a wonderful and at the same time difficult move, to a new home, new studio too...I drew one of my favorites, a jellyfish. In this case a Lion's Mane Jelly with it's spectacularly colored ruffle or hood as it's called. In the Lion's Mane, these look just like poppy flowers to me, so some of the tentacles have poppies, open and distributing seeds or just budding...thus the name Spreading Seeds. I hope this is beginning a new view for me. I love jellyfish for their flowing beauty, but they can also be very poisonous. So we have the beauty and the danger and now the mystical as well.
