There are a few diffrent ways of making this dress, Bias cut, you will need to buy samples and test how they stretch on the bias. The original dress is cotton linen so I recommend buying samples of that type to see how they do on the bias. Regular, most woven fabrics will do for this job. Stretch, Organic cotton knit has a 1 way stretch and can be stretched around a solid base, or lined with another knit fabric to make the dress figure fitting.
