Semi-abstract painting of parrots in a heaving forest, where life forms are created and destroyed. Some parts are highly finished and other parts are loose. As you stare at it, creatures appear in the flowers and leaves. The parrots merge into their environment and they are surrounded by coiling parasitic forms. The top right parrot is eyeless, while the one at lower left is changing into a griffin. The birds stare out with strange avian intelligence, as their surroundings leak into them. And the jungle reclaims them. Qualia are conscious experiences (qualities), such as the blueness of the colour blue. The artwork was inspired by my novella "Yesterday Makers".
