The harlequin colors are the same in the basic and black pearl version of this pattern, so they can be intermixed. To combine with Spoonflower Petal Cotton solids: yellow/gold use "Lemon Lime" or "Marigold" green use "Grass" or "Lime" purple use "Orchid"

in the traditional Mardi Gras colors.
