remember the smell of Eucalyptus on a hot day.
Very aromatic plant that adds to fire hazards. It’s wonderful spell is actually flammable oils that are continuously produced. This is analogous to when you smell the gas when you fill up your car. But this plan is a lifesaver when it comes to congestion and sore throats. But then I’m allergic to its cousin the Acacia flower. So I have lots of thoughts when I think of this plant. Before UCSD was built, Eucalyptus plants were planted in rows - like an orchard - as a way to add greenery with low water requirements. (This land was a military bass for a while when this was done). Eucalyptus trees are not native to California, but they are planted in many places due to their drought tolerance. They are also all around the UC Berkeley campus.
