Spoonflower + Pantone presentPantone® Color of the Year: Monochrome Wallpaper Design Challenge

For this official Spoonflower x Pantone (R) Design Challenge, we invite you to create a statement neutral wallpaper featuring Mocha Mousse, Pantone’s Color of the Year 2025.   

A natural and approachable color, Mocha Mousse expresses a level of luxe indulgence that is also grounded in its utilitarian neutrality. Envision your design on wallpaper where bold statement-making motifs are balanced for a mass-market audience by this subtly sophisticated limited color palette.  

The winning design will be hand-selected from the top 100 by Pantone. Any design entered in the Design Challenge is subject to be included in any Pantone or Spoonflower marketing materials at the sole discretion of Pantone and Spoonflower.  

(Remember, for wallpaper products, large-scale prints are a consumer favorite 😉 ) 

Spoonflower credit has been doubled for the top ten prizes in this challenge! Additional prizes are detailed below. 

An Important Note About Your Entry   

Artists must:   
Make Mocha Mousse the dominant color in your design.  
Use one or more colors from Pantone’s Relaxed Elegance Palette, a versatile range of beige, cream, taupe, and brown tones with elegant simplicity that opens up a wide range of design possibilities.  

  
Artists can:  
Incorporate tints of the colors in this palette. A tint is a lighter version of the color (original color + white) without changing the saturation.  
Use gradients and textures.  
 

Artists cannot:  
Introduce new colors, black and white or darker shades of the colors featured in the palette.
